Will is passionate about improving health outcomes with eHealth. William has over fifteen years of eHealth consulting and solutions experience across NZ, Australia, Asia, North America, the UK and Europe. He is the Programme Director for the Northern Electronic Health Record that is considering the feasibility and affordability of implementing a Comprehensive Electronic Health Record across Primary, Community and Secondary Care in the Northern Region. Prior to returning to NZ in early 2015, Will was involved a number of EMR and EHR implementations in Australia, Canada, the US and the UK. In his various roles he has worked with HIMSS on a number of programmes that have included EMRAM (Inpatient and Ambulatory), Continuity of Care and Analytics assessments. Will also continues to practice clinical medicine as a surgical doctor in large tertiary hospitals in Auckland, New Zealand.
