I have a passion for community, health, family, mountain biking and well-being. This led me to my current role with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the New Zealand (NZ) Health Lead and a member of the NZ AWS Public Sector Leadership team. Based in Wellington, I work across several health organisations, public sector agencies, policy makers and have an extensive business network. During the first lockdown, I led the AWS team who partnered with the Ministry of Health on the National Close Contact Tracing System and COVID Tracer app. Along with my 20+ years of working with customers and citizens on how technology supports our communities, I believe NZHIT is the right organisation to support the development of digital health skills, foster equity and diversity within the tech sector and bring energy to the role with the one focus, Healthy New Zealanders - Te Iwi Hauora
