Odin Health embarks on expansion trail via partner-led strategy

November 5, 2021

Health integration software company Odin Health is expanding its global reach through a partner-led strategy. Odin’s integration engines are an all-in-one interoperability solution that allow healthcare providers to connect systems seamlessly, saving time and reducing costs.

Odin’s integration engine products allow hospitals and healthcare organisations of all sizes to connect systems reliably and quickly. Unlike other integration engines, Odin is designed specifically for healthcare and includes out of the box support for relevant health standards including HL7, FHIR, DICOM, XML and JSON.

Former Clanwilliam Health Chief Customer Officer Paul Graham has taken the reins as Director of Sales and Marketing at Odin Health. The new role sees Graham lead Odin Health’s entry into new markets including Australia and the United Kingdom as well as expanding its New Zealand footprint.

John Shen, Founder and General Manager, Odin Health, said “As a company, we are extremely excited to have Paul join us. His experience will be invaluable as we look to further extend Odin Health’s growth trajectory.”

In the last twelve months alone, Odin has deployed 100 site licences globally. The implementations have been increasing in scale, ranging from Medtech Global’s ALEX platform (a deployment that covers 85% of New Zealand’s GP practices) to deployments in some of China’s largest hospitals.

Shen added “We’re seeing a shift away from legacy integration platforms. The pandemic in particular has meant that healthcare providers need to show agility and get integrations set up quickly. Odin helps in this regard as the graphical UI avoids the need to have knowledge of specialised programming languages. Also we’re seeing the need for ESB capability as the sector migrates away from legacy standards such as HL7 to APIs.”

Graham said “As we’re solely based in Auckland, New Zealand our strategy is to expand via a partner-led strategy. We’re specifically looking for partners that will not only resell Odin Health products, but also provide value-add services and expertise to implement the solution.”

“We’re on a journey to rapidly expand our reach. We’re working hard to ensure we bring the right partners on our journey. This is an exciting opportunity to enable our partners to win new customers, grow revenue and increase their market share. We intend in the future that 100% of our sales will be partner-led.”

Graham said “Odin Health is continually investing to improve our products. Our leading edge NeXT Cloud offering is two generations ahead of anything offered by our competitors offering resilience, performance and scalability thanks to its Kubernetes and microservices architecture.”

“The process to become an Odin Health partner is easy. A partner does not have to go through a rigorous sign-up process to become an Odin partner. They can contact us via our website and we’ll set them up in a matter of days. Being easy to deal with is key for us, that combined with having the best of breed solutions on the market.”

“We’ll provide full training on the solution, however partners who have worked with other integration solutions should find the switch straightforward”.
